Whoops, I did it again...

This is a stylised raven an image of an animal that was central to the First Nations People of British Columbia. The art of this area is absolutely amazing and so my Canada tattoo had be something that had meaning on a deeper level.

If you want to see some more examples of Haida art, go here or here.

Oh Em got herself a little tatt as well. Hers is a reference to her profession as an archaeologist. Cute, huh. It's a trowel and brush.

What do you mean, ooops? It's not like you tripped and fell onto the needle again and again and again and - well, you get the picture.

It is lovely, though! (Where is it?) And I love Em's.

Hi!

I've been wanting a Haida tattoo since my trip to BC in 2000. I love yours, and that image has been saved in my possible tattoo folder for ages. I see that you chose the top of your right arm, but what size is it? Would you mind telling me the height and width? I'm thinking top of left arm myself, and I'm just wondering what size will look best.

Thanks!

Michelle
